Premier athlete management agency, Rimas Sports, announced today a management deal with Dominican San Diego Padres right fielder Fernando Tatis Jr. Through this alliance, Rimas Sports will be working with Tatis Jr. to expand his portfolio as an athlete, businessman and philanthropist.

“We are major fans of Tatis Jr.’s accomplishments, his incredible dedication and work ethic, his passion on and off the field is unmatched, and we are confident that together we will continue to help him grow his professional repertoire and business acumen. All of us are excited to welcome him to our Rimas family and are proud of this big moment for the culture” said Jonathan Miranda, CEO of Rimas Sports.

Rimas Sports is a partnership between superstar Bad Bunny and executives Noah Assad and Jonathan Miranda. Tatis Jr. joins the elite Rimas Sports roster which includes Ronald Acuña Jr. of Atlanta Braves, Ezequiel Tovar of Colorado Rockies, Francisco Alvarez of New York Mets, among many others.

Tatis Jr., nicknamed “El Niño,” made his MLB debut in 2019 and went on to sign a 14-year, $340 million contract extension with the Padres before the 2021 season. Tatís has been described as a five-tool player by MLB.com due to his robust skills in hitting, hitting for power, fielding, throwing, and running. During the 2021 season, he hit 42 home runs, the most in the National League that year and he is only the fifth Padres player to hit 40+ home runs in a single season. Plus, his .282 batting average in 2021 was the highest among leaderboard-qualified Padres batters.
