JUANES AND SEBASTIAN YATRA NEW SINGLE “BONITA” REACHES OVER 5 MILLION VIEWS CLOSING WEEKEND

Globally renowned Latin rock superstar Juanes, released an eagerly awaited new collaborative single “Bonita” with Sebastian Yatra. The track not only unveils another energetic chapter in Juanes’ recent work, of fusing his distinctive guitar sound with celebratory Colombian folk rhythms. But also brings together two of the country’s top current singer-songwriters on one recording for the first time. In following with the creative spirit of his most recent releases, “Bonita” is the latest advance single from his eagerly awaited new album dropping in this November.

Hailed by Fader for bringing ‘a New Cool” to Latin ballads. Sebastian Yatra is a fast-rising young Colombian star and has often cited the strong influence he has drawn from his 25-time Grammy/Latin Grammy winning countryman. Now on the Vallenato inspired celebration of “Bonita”, Sebastian Yatra gets to record with Juanes, who has of course ranged from powerful Latin rock to timeless ballads that have become iconic touchstones in Latin pop.

Co-Produced by Juanes himself, along with Andres Torres and Mauricio Rengifo (who also worked together on related recent single “La Plata”). “Bonita” marks Juanes’ focus single for the Fall, as both his eagerly-awaited new album, and his gala ceremony as the 20th Anniversary Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year approaching in November.
