“My Adventures With Superman” is getting ready to make it’s season 2 debut on Adult Swim on Saturday, May 25th ad midnight. This series features a fresh take on the Man of Steel with unique anime-inspired animation that fans of all ages can enjoy. With the release of of the new season as well as an all-new comic book by the same name NEWS X MUSE Manny Gomez spoke with Josie Campbell. She is a writer and producer of the animated series. As well as the writer for the comic book that is ready to hit comic book shops and e-tailers on Tuesday, June 4th, with artwork by Pablo M. Collar.
This version of Superman is a coming-of-age story that revolves around a young, 20-something Clark Kent just trying to make it in Metropolis. There he makes friends with co-workers Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen. In this new season, the three, now best friends, face a host of new threats that will come from Clark’s alien past. We’ll see to-well-known Amanda Waller taking aim at Superman, Lois struggling with the the thought of the future, and a big-spender Jimmy Olsen. They will be tested like never before!

During our interview with Josie Campbell about all things “My Adventures with Superman” we shared our thoughts on where our love for Clark Kent stem from. As well as our favorite versions of the character. Campbell shares with us the process of creating this version of the Man of Steel and how exciting it was to freshen up the characters. Speaking specifically about the comic book, we learn about how this story fits right in between season one and two of the animated series.
