We got of first-look at the live-action adaptation of “Borderlands”. This is based off of one of the best-selling video games of all time. This action role-playing first-person shooter was developed by Gearbox and was first released in 2009. Now 15 years later we are gearing up for the August 9th premiere of the film.
With that date quickly approaching, Lionsgate has given us our first-look at the cast and aesthetic of “Borderlands”. This comes as they are getting ready to release the trailer tomorrow.
The cast for the film includes Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Edgar Ramírez, Ariana Greenblatt, Florian Munteanu, Gina Gershon, and Jamie Lee Curtis.
“Borderlands” is directed by Eli Roth, who also wrote the screenplay along with Joe Crombie. It is executive produced by Tim Miller, Ethan Smith, Louise Rosner, Emmy Yu, Lucy Kitada, Christopher Woodrow, K. Blaine Johnston, Randy Pitchford, and Strauss Zelnick.

Lilith (Blanchett), an infamous bounty hunter with a mysterious past, reluctantly returns to her home, Pandora, the most chaotic planet in the galaxy. Her mission is to find the missing daughter of Atlas (Ramírez), the universe’s most powerful S.O.B.
