Adult Swim Returns to San Diego Comic-Con With Rick and Morty, Smiling Friends and Free Fan Experiences
Fans can experience the RAMbler ride, attend free nightly events, and catch panels for Rick and Morty, My Adventures with Superman, and more.
SAN DIEGO - Adult Swim is bringing back its signature brand of weird to San Diego Comic-Con 2026 with exclusive panels, interactive experiences and free fan events outside the convention center.
Adult Swim on the Green returns to Fifth Avenue Landing and Convention Way Thursday, July 23 through Sunday, July 26, with immersive activations, nightly events and no Comic-Con badge required.
This year’s centerpiece experience is the RAMbler, a Rick and Morty-inspired take on the classic Scrambler ride. Fans will enter through a giant Rick Sanchez head before stepping into a dome filled with original animation, music, and immersive effects inspired by the Emmy-winning series.
The outdoor space will also feature experiences based on several Adult Swim series, including Common Side Effects, Haha, You Clowns, President Curtis and Smiling Friends. Fans can explore a Marshall fountain from Common Side Effects, play a Campbell Boys-themed mini golf challenge, test their aim in a President Curtis slingshot game and climb aboard a larger-than-life Mr. Boss attraction inspired by Smiling Friends.
Adult Swim will also host free nightly events beginning at 7:15 p.m.:
Thursday, July 23: Night of New, an outdoor screening featuring exclusive previews, first looks and surprise reveals.
Friday, July 24: A live table read with the cast of Rick and Morty.
Saturday, July 25: A celebration of Adult Swim’s 25th anniversary featuring cosplay, a live animated visual set by Afuchs Twin and a DJ dance party.
Each evening ends with a free DJ dance party from 9 to 10 p.m.

Fans can also head to the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront on Friday, July 24, for an afternoon of back-to-back panels featuring the creators and stars behind several Adult Swim series.
Common Side Effects Season 2 at 12 p.m.
Co-creators Joe Bennett and Steve Hely join cast members Martha Kelly and Joseph Lee Anderson for a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming second season, including the creative process, character development and what’s ahead for the series.
President Curtis at 1:00 p.m.
Co-creators Dan Harmon and James Siciliano, along with Keith David, introduce the new animated comedy set in the Rick and Morty universe, offering fans an early look at the upcoming series.
My Adventures with Superman Season 3 at 2:00 p.m.
Showrunners Jake Wyatt and Brendan Clogher, writer Karen Graci and cast members Jack Quaid, Alice Lee, Ishmel Sahid and Kiana Madeira preview what’s next for Superman, Lois Lane and the rest of the team.
Rick and Morty Season 9 at 3:00 p.m.
Executive producers Dan Harmon and Scott Marder reunite with the series’ voice cast, including Ian Cardoni, Harry Belden, Spencer Grammer and Chris Parnell, to discuss Season 9 and what’s next for the Smith family.
Adult Swim on the Green is free and open to the public, with no Comic-Con badge required.
