Holiday in the Park returns to Six Flags Magic Mountain on select days from Nov. 26 through Jan. 3, offering seasonal entertainment, festive traditions and millions of lights.
The event features the largest entertainment program in its history, including new live shows, holiday celebrations, family activities and the park’s thrill rides. It comes as the park undergoes a broader transformation that includes new experiences, enhanced guest offerings and major additions planned for the coming years.
Entertainment
Each event evening begins with the Tree Lighting Ceremony at Full Throttle Stage, where holiday performers and festive music will accompany the illumination of the park’s Christmas tree. Also at Full Throttle Stage, singers and dancers will perform seasonal songs in “Cool Yule Christmas.”
At GearWorks Theater, “Tinker’s Toy Factory” takes audiences to Santa’s workshop, where elves race to prepare for the big night. At Bunny Bowl Amphitheater, Looney Tunes™ characters star in “No Biz Like Snow Biz,” a holiday musical.
Other new offerings include:
“Storytime with Mrs. Claus” at Rapids Camp Crossing, where Mrs. Claus shares holiday tales and traditions. The area also will house the North Pole Craft Depot & Post Office, where guests can make crafts and send letters to the North Pole.
“The Yule Logs,” who will perform at Metro Pub, and The Mistletones, who will sing holiday classics at Carousel Gazebo.
“TWAS: A Merry Mishap,” an interactive retelling of a holiday classic by the Tinsel Town Players in Metropolis Park. Guests may step into the story.
Other attractions and food
Guests also can visit Santa, decorate cookies and roast s’mores. The new Tree Lot in The Underground features festive décor and photo opportunities. At The Wishing Ridge at Baja Ridge, guests can see synchronized lights set to holiday music.
Seasonal food and drinks will be sold throughout the park. At Dasher’s Diner, a traditional holiday feast includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, cranberry sauce and a dinner roll. Other items include pozole, pumpkin pie and an eggnog cheesecake funnel cake.
Park’s future
Recent investments include the transformation of Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles and the reimagining of Looney Tunes Land. In 2027, the park will debut Thrill Glider, billed as the world’s first suspended multi-launch thrillglider coaster. It features a suspended glider train, five inversions and more than a half-mile of mountainside track.
The park also confirmed it will add the fan-favorite coaster ArieForce One. Park officials said the projects are part of a broader plan that includes new attractions, expanded family offerings, enhanced entertainment, beautification, new guest amenities and infrastructure improvements.
