Global chart-topping phenomenon Peso Pluma surprised his fans by adding three bonus tracks to his album “GENESIS” including an epic collaboration with fellow chart-topping music sensations Grupo Frontera titled “Tulum.” As the front runners of the Musica Mexicana movement, Peso Pluma and Group Frontera have come together to collaborate on this catchy summer anthem that drops today alongside the official music video.

Written by Latin GRAMMY winner Edgar Barrera, Rios and Peso Pluma, and produced by Barrera, “Tulum” effortlessly blends their collective staple sounds with upbeat melodies and sweet lyrics as they serenade a love interest. The music video featuring Peso Pluma and Grupo Frontera members Adelaido Solís, Julian Peña Jr., Alberto Acosta, Carlos Zamora, Carlos Guerrero and Juan Javier Cantu was directed by Abel Baez.

Peso Pluma’s additional “GENESIS” bonus tracks include previously released singles “PRC” and “Las Morras” alongside Blessd.

Peso Pluma also recently launched his own record label Double P Records (in partnership with George Prajin) which he released “GENESIS” under.

Música Mexicana reached a new high following the release of “GÉNESIS.” June 23rd marked the highest day of streaming for the Música Mexicana genre in Apple Music history. Peso Pluma’s album also broke the worldwide record for the highest first-day streams for a Música Mexicana album in Apple Music history. Recently, Grupo Frontera also broke the first-day streaming record to become the biggest música mexicana single in Apple Music history with “un x100to” which they released alongside Bad Bunny. In addition, both artists have held the number one position on the Billboard Global 200 and “Ella Baila Sola” remains at number one and “un x100to” remains at number nine on the list. Both artists also dominate the Spotify Global 50 with Peso Pluma holding positions one and five and Grupo Frontera at number four.
