James Beard Award-winning Chef Kwame Onwuachi will open a new restaurant at SAHARA Las Vegas in late 2025. This marks his first West Coast venture.

Onwuachi, known for his acclaimed restaurants Tatiana in New York City and Dōgon in Washington, D.C., will introduce an original concept to SAHARA. The new restaurant will replace Bazaar Meat by José Andrés, which closes on June 30, 2025.

“We admire Chef Onwuachi’s impact on the dining scene in New York and D.C.,” said Paul Hobson, General Manager of SAHARA Las Vegas. “We’re excited to bring his culinary vision to our guests.”

Onwuachi added, “I’m thrilled to join SAHARA Las Vegas and contribute to the city’s vibrant food scene.”

Further details about the restaurant will be released in the coming months.
