NEWS X MUSE’s Manny Gomez spoke with Mexican American actor Aarón Díaz. He hosts a new ten-episode travel docuseries, RECONEXIÓN: MÉXICO, premiering on VIX on January 5th.
During our conversation, we chatted about his experience getting exclusive access to some of Mexico’s most beloved and coveted travel locations, and his appreciation for having the opportunity to share his experiences around the amazing country of Mexico. RECONEXIÓN: MÉXICO follows actor Aarón Díaz, as he reconnects with his roots while traveling through all 32 Mexican states. Throughout the series, Aarón Díaz along with special guests explore the most interesting and unknown corners of his beloved country, meet with local people, and give audiences a unique perspective of Mexico’s roots, flavors, cultures and its people.
The ViX Original docuseries is produced by Aarón Díaz, Tim Sexton, and Fernando Mills, co-founders of Reconexión Productions.
Aarón was born in the Mexican beach town of Puerto Vallarta, to a Mexican father and an American mother, and grew up between San Miguel de Allende, in Mexico, and Palo Alto, CA. He has enjoyed a 20-year acting career with many leading roles in television and film. His love, admiration, and connection to nature have brought him to conceive and create RECONEXIÓN: MÉXICO.
The ten-episode docuseries, RECONEXIÓN: MÉXICO, debuts January 5th on VIX.
