On Saturday, March 25 Breaking the Chains Foundation (BTCF) hosted a live event How to Love YourSelfie in the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles.

The interactive event promoting positive change within social media platforms that focuses on health, wellness, and FUN in inclusive and relevant ways. Inspired by the online evidence-based program How to Love Yourselfie founded by Jillian Rose Reed helped to benefit the organization.

Some of the entertainment of the day included BTCF Ambassador Serena Laurel and Adil C performed during the event along with 7 Chairs Dancers along with a cooking demo by NOLA Chef Gason to round out the day.

Breaking the Chains Foundation is an art-based non-profit committed to the prevention of body-focused and mental well-being stigmas. The organization executes its mission through transforming research and personal stories into artistic programs aimed at increasing self-love, self-esteem, self-compassion, and self-acceptance; and using the power of the arts to foster creativity, build connections, and create a community in which individuals can thrive.
