We now know the premiere date for Prime Video new highly anticipated series, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”. All eight episodes of the series will be available exclusively on their streaming service on February 2, 2024. As part of this announcement, five images were released that you can see right here!
Following the success and popularity of the 2005 feature film starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, we now have a reimagining from co-creators and executive producers Donald Glover and Francesca Sloane.
“Mr. & Mrs. Smith” will star Glover as John Smith and Maya Erskine as Jane Smith. In this version of the story, we find two strangers who land jobs working for a mysterious spy agency that offers them the glorious life of espionage, wealth, travel, and more. The catch is that these two strangers must take new identities in an arranged marriage as Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Smith.
Now “married” the two must navigate their high-risk jobs that require them to go on missions every week. Their complex cover story then becomes even more complicated when they start catching real feelings for each other.
