Brian Metcalf Talks About Latest Underdeveloped

NEWS x MUSE Manny Gomez spoke with the creator and star of the new Tubi series “Underdeveloped”, Brian Metcalf.

Most of us think that our jobs would be a great television series with some of the drama that happens, but for filmmaker Brian Metcalf, he actually made that happen with his new series on Tubi.

“Underdeveloped” is a mockumentary-style series that premieres on September 8th. It offers a unique satirical behind-the-scenes look at a production company run by a group of failed and inexperienced producers and how they deal with other Hollywood departments. But to make things worse, or better if you’re the audience, an inexperienced dinosaur-loving slacker is given the opportunity to run the production company.

From Black Jellybeans comes a brand new TV series written and directed by Brian A. Metcalf (Adverse). The show stars Thomas Ian Nicholas (American Pie), Metcalf, Kelly Arjen (Adverse), Samm Levine (Freaks and Geeks), Shelley Regner (Pitch Perfect), Lulu Jovovich with Mark Pellegrino (Supernatural), David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place), David Koechner (The Office) and Tom Arnold (True Lies). Jaret Reddick (Phineas and Ferb, Bowling for Soup band) is the narrator.
