The stars of “Jungle Cruise”, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, presented dueling trailers to prepare audiences for the adventure film.
“Jungle Cruise” will be released in theaters and Disney+ with Premier Access on July 30.
The film is inspired by Disneyland’s theme park ride, and takes place down the Amazon. Dwayne Johnson plays the wisecracking boat guide Frank Wolff, opposite of Emily Blunt’s character, researcher Dr. Lily Houghton. Lily is traveling from London to the Amazon jungle in pursuit of a tree that holds healing powers, and enlists Frank’s assistance as he guides her on La Quila, his not-so-fancy boat. As they travel further into the forest, the stakes get higher as the fate of mankind rests on the unlikely duo’s shoulders.
