You may never think of your kids’ imaginary friends the same again. From Lionsgate and Blumhouse, comes a new original horror feature film, “Imaginary”. The minds behind some of this year’s best-received horror films, “Five Nights at Freddy’s” and “M3gan” comes a film that explores the innocence of imaginary friends.

Are these just figments of childhood imagination or is there something more terrifying and sinister lying beneath? We got our first look at the trailer, which you can check out above!

First Look: Imaginary Trailer Released By Lionsgate and Blumhouse

Here is the official synopsis from Lionsgate and Blumhouse for “Imaginary”:

When Jessica (DeWanda Wise) moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter Alice (Pyper Braun) develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement. Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that begin playful and become increasingly sinister.

As Alice’s behavior becomes more and more concerning, Jessica intervenes only to realize Chauncey is much more than the stuffed toy bear she believed him to be.

The Jeff Wadlow horror film “Imaginary” is scheduled to be in theaters, on March 8, 2024.
