This holiday season we are getting the gift of a new season of Marvel Studios’ animated series, “What If…?” On Disney+, not from Santa Claus but from The Watcher. In the spirit of the holiday’s, we are getting an “advent calendar” style release of the nine episodes. Starting December 22, “What If…?” will release one episode nightly. Here is the synopsis for the second season of Marvel Studios’ “What If…?”
Season two of “What If…?” continues the journey as The Watcher guides viewers through the vast multiverse, introducing brand new and familiar faces throughout the MCU.
The series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles. Featuring fan-favorite characters this season like Nebula, Hela and Happy Hogan, episodes are directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews with executive producer AC Bradley as head writer.
The second “What If…” season premieres on December 22, exclusively on Disney +.
