This series takes a closer look at one of the best known, but least understood crimes in history. The astonishing story of the hunt of John Wilkes Booth after he assassinated President Abraham Lincoln. The first two episodes of “Manhunt” are now available on Apple TV+, with a new episode every week through April 19.

During our conversation with Oswalt about “Manhunt”, we talked about the challenges authorities had to have faced in trying to find a killer in 1865.
