Country and entertainment icon Reba McEntire will be your host for the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards. Those are set to take place on Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. CDT/5 p.m. PDT streaming exclusively on Prime Video from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. Its important to note that a Prime membership will NOT be required to watch the ACM Awards live.

The announcement was made by the ACM, Prime Video, and Dick Clark Productions. McEntire is practically synonymous with the these Awards as this is her 17th time hosing the event, the most of any artist. She will be taking the stage for a show stopping special performance that will feature brand new music.

McEntire’s award history at the ACM Awards includes 16 award wins, and nine nominations for the prestigious ACM Entertainer of the Year, including a win in 1994. She holds the record for most nominations for Female Artist of the Year.

“I am tickled to pieces to get to host the ACM Awards for the 17th time!” Reba McEntire exclaimed. “What an honor to have been part of the past, present and now the future of the Academy of Country Music with Amazon Prime Video. I can’t wait to get to Texas and see everybody May 16th!”
