Warner Bros. Pictures’ Sinners is heading to Halloween Horror Nights, bringing its 1930s Mississippi Delta vampire terror to Universal Studios’ signature fall event. The haunted house opens Aug. 28 at Universal Orlando Resort and Sept. 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood, giving fans a chance to step inside the Oscar-winning film’s world for the first time.
The Ryan Coogler-directed film grossed more than $370 million worldwide and earned 16 Academy Award nominations, winning four — making it the highest-grossing original horror film since its 2025 debut.
What to Expect Inside the ‘Sinners’ Haunted House
The immersive experience drops guests into Club Juke, the film’s iconic juke joint, where the celebration quickly unravels. Red-eyed vampires Remmick, Bert and Joan stalk every corner as guests navigate a deadly standoff between twin brothers Smoke and Stack and the bloodthirsty horde. Fan-favorite characters — including Sammie, Mary, Annie, Pearline and Cornbread — appear throughout the house, pulled directly from the film.
“Just as Ryan Coogler’s Academy Award-winning film reinvented the vampire movie, we are reinventing the haunted house and creating new ways to scare our guests that we’ve never attempted before,” said John Murdy, executive producer of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Mike Aiello, senior director of entertainment creative development at Universal Orlando Resort, called the film a natural fit for the event. “It’s rare for a film to fully satisfy hardcore horror fans while also inviting new audiences into the genre — and that’s exactly what Sinners does,” Aiello said.
Coogler and fellow Proximity Media producers Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian said in a joint statement that the partnership allows fans to “feel the music, the atmosphere and the tension all around them.”
