WONHO SET TO PERFORM TOMORROW NIGHT

Singer-Songwriter-Producer, Wonho, is gearing up for his highly anticipated second global virtual concert. During this LiveXLive event, Wonho will be performing for the first time songs off his newly released mini-album, ‘WONHO 1ST MINI ALBUM Part2. <Love Synonym #2 : Right for Us>. The virtual concert will take place Saturday, March 27th at 11 PM ET / March 28th at 12 PM KT. TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW: purchase here.

Following its February 26th release, Wonho’s album dominated the charts, with Forbes noting this accomplishment; “Wonho debuts five new singles on the World Digital Song Sales chart, meaning he claims 20% of the entire ranking. That type of domination isn’t unheard of, but it is still relatively uncommon on any Billboard chart.”

With the release of his album last September announcing the start of his solo career, this album is a continuation of his ‘Love Synonym’ series and meant to dive deeper into Wonho as an artist and continue to solidify his story. Wonho kicked off his album release by chatting with Radio.com about his inspiration throughout the writing process, which ultimately is his fans. He further expands on this topic withTeen Vogue stating proudly; “My fans are the definite source that I can always get energy and inspiration for my music from.” He continues, “They inspire me to express the unique color that I have.” “I want to express my message of gratitude to [Wenee] and deliver it through my music.”

Wonho’s album made quite the impression within the media world all over the globe, with NME referring to it as “…a well-balanced equilibrium in both sound and vibe.” Teen Vogue calling it a “…delightful, concise EP.” and Forbes naming him as one of “The K-Pop Solo Stars Who Could Break In America In 2021.”

“Wonho is a phenomenal artist who transcends the K-pop genre,” stated Dermot McCormack, President of LiveXLive. “His immense popularity enables him to engage with fans by creating unique offerings in merch, VIP, and super fan experiences leveraging LiveXLive’s scale and flywheel approach. We look forward to debuting his new record and hosting his second PPV concert on our platform.”
