The Battery Electric just released a music video for their song Big Tears. Big Tears is the first effort by Ron Santee and Brent Bergholm as a recording duo. All instruments were recorded, mixed, and mastered by them.  The drums were recorded at Eagles of Death Metal’s Jesse Hughes’ Dangerous House of Thoughts Studios. The remainder was finished at Brent’s loft space in Los Angeles.

Ron and Brent met filmmaker Ian Sepulveda and Bonnie Carvaccio, a creative couple who hail from Chile doing a 6-month stint in Hollywood.  Right before they had to move back to Chile they all got together and shot the music video in Joshua Tree, California. The whole effort is DIY and spontaneous. Watch the video for Big Tears below:

The Battery Electric

The Battery Electric is an American Rock n Roll band originally from Asbury Park, New Jersey, now located in Los Angeles, CA. The band line-up consists of vocalist/drummer Ron Santee and guitarist Brent Bergholm. Their loud, energetic style of back-to-basics rock ‘n’ roll can be described as a blown-out, fuzzed-out Doo-Wop, the best music to break the boogie to.
