Fans of the Bill and Ted franchise have a new reason to rejoice! Veve, a marketplace app for premium digital collectibles, has teamed up with Creative Licensing for a series of limited edition, first-ever NFT collectibles from the comedic films Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989) and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey (1991).
As part of the collectible series, fans will be able to “party on” with digital collectibles that feature everyone’s favorite characters, Ted “Theodore” Logan played by Keanu Reeves, and William “Bill” S. Preston, Esquire played by Alex Winter. In addition, a highly detailed replica of the famed phone booth time machine that Bill and Ted use to time travel will also be featured in the collection.
Creative Licensing is an independent full-service licensing agency that has specialized in long-term brand development since 1982. Their partnership with Veve opens up the possibility for more NFTS from classic films of the ’80s and ’90s such as; Terminator, Rambo, and Halloween. In a statement David Yu, CEO of Veve shared the companies excitement over this collaboration and its peculiar tie to the film’s theme.

Recent NFT releases from VeVe have included DC’s original Superman, with 8,888 – which sold out in a matter of minutes, as well as a sold-out drop of 87,500 NFTs of the classic DeLorean Time Machine from Back to the Future. The company hopes to take “digital collection” to the next level with future releases from their favorite brands and films such as; Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, other DC Comics, and many more.
As Veve continues to include different and iconic digital collectibles from beloved pop culture content. President of Creative Licensing, Rand Marlis, has recognized the platform’s evolution in the world of NFTs.
